NICE high grade pickup! Two of the four dies that struck 1916-D have RPM's, idk why they attributed it as such though.
Stop teasing me CBD, I want to see it already! Did you buy it raw or certified?
Hmm. Both? Another teaser...
Aha you got it with an old school Photo Cert!!!
Now can we see the Coin?
YOW!!!!! That's definitely a lot higher than 30 by today's standards! *Drool*
Best I can do with my phone right now:
That's a solid EF45. The coin is oozing eye appeal!
Is this a keeper for the collection or a resale?
I have never been so excited to buy a coin at a show. It will be sold... but for major money. The old ANACS photograde is in great shape. The coin is in a Cointainer(tm) brand holder. And the coin is an immaculate XF45.
CoinTalk doesn't have heart emoticons, soooo.......

It came with a bit of a story. Collector brought it to the show saying he bought it with his Dad in 1979. Couldn't remember what he paid, but said maybe $300.
Wow! Congrats on your purchase!
Awesome. Fantastic circ contrast and eye appeal, history with the conservative grade, and the PhotoCert photos look cool to boot. What more could you ask for? Great find
Cant wait to see the better photos.
Hope you post them here.
That's a great story to go with a fantastic coin. Thanks for sharing it, I always get excited when someone posts a 1916-D!
Wow. That is superb. Congrats!
