I have inherited these coins and my last posts on them recieved no response so.... I'm still new to coin collecting and I do not really care if they are worth a fortune or not more or less what they are. But a value would be nice.
Don't know about the foreign coins, but the US ones are likely only worth face value. Can we see the front of the Susan B Anthony?
The HALF PENNY dated 1944 is from the UK. The ship is Sir Francis Drake's The Golden Hind. In circulated condition as your example is, it's only worth under $1. Still nice to have a coin from the UK, though!
Check for this; http://www.smalldollars.com/dollar/page29.html The key is the distance between the edge and the date, not the width of the edge, as a slightly offcenter struck coin can easily fool you. If it's a wide-rim, it's worth a decent amount more than face.
