Up to my usual - challenging conventional wisdom among coin people because I observe far more convention than wisdom in it. But then I work for my legislature, so I'm used to being surrounded by hot air.
Nah, more existential stuff than that. Big picture hobby trends like the proliferation of stickering services. Stuff that gives me the overwhelming feeling we're engaging in the biggest self-delusional con job in the history of mankind. What's the over/under on when someone comes up with a sticker that says, "No, seriously dude, it's an MS66!"
Grading the flea that's wagging the tail that's wagging the dog? I'm hoping for a wave of creative destruction when it comes to U.S coin grading.
Hey, jello, I have an ex-wife in Huntsville, AL. Seen her? Tall, blonde, southern accent. Enough detail?
If it's a copper coin that's plated how come it sticks to a magnet not strongly but sticks to a magnet.

The plating has a ferromagnetic metal like nickel or paramagnetic metal. Very common for these "science experiments", especially the weak attraction to a magnet.
It is most likely plated with nickel. Pure nickel is strongly magnetic, so the small amount of nickel plated on the coin allow it to stick, but not strongly stick, to the magnet.
