looks like it might not be an error but not 100% sure... I am going to let some people with more experience answer!

Explain the reversed doubling in liberty? I checked the definition of brockage and this one fits perfectly

Also, would you mind taking a picture from farther away? The closer the picture is, usually the more blurry it is which is true for this picture.

It looks like post-mint damage (PMD) to me. It appears that someone hammered the obverse of another cent into the obverse of your coin. Note that the "R" is upside down.

You posted this thread twice. It happens a lot when someone goofs trying to post photos. No big deal! Just click on "Report" at the bottom and ask the Mods to combine the threads.

When a coin is not fully ejected and a blank planchet comes into the striking chamber and is stuck again the first image along with the newly struck coin is made thus is called a brockage

Yes I know that.. But IMHO.. the coin in question is not a Brockage.. A brockage would leave an indentation not a warped edge

Looks like cents I have seen students holding in a Bunsen burner flame with tongs.

Yep, that's what happens with the zincolns when you heat them up. The zinc melts, outgasses and blows out the side.
