Yay! I finally got my 2021 Morgan & Peace Dollars back from PCGS today (even though I knew the grades already).

Oh and as a bonus PCGS sent me a free calendar. :p

These are the coins I picked for my personal set:

    Thanks! ^_^

Now I just have to sell the spare 69s and 70s and I should be able to make enough to cover the full cost of this set + shipping & grading fees :).

Indeed nice. First time I've seen the labels for these...surprised that PCGS doesn't ID the P-mints with a P in parentheses...2021(P)...to indicate the mint but without a mint-mark on coin...also for all, a Silver notation as in S$ or SILVER$. No biggie, really...just an observation.

    Congrats @Gam3rBlake.

As for the calendar, I got mine yesterday too. Interesting we got it on the same day despite being on opposite coasts.

Anyway, nice selections for submissions and glad it worked out.

No not 5. Only 4 of my coins got 69.

    2x of the Peace Dollars
    1x O Morgan
    1x D Morgan

    The rest are 70s. :)

That’s true! I wonder why they didn’t do that.

Although I can say, you did great and what a wonderful set, the technology these days for these coins is that a great deal of the mintage Grade 70. That being said, the small mintages is the selling point and rarity aspect. I still have to submit my 6 coins yet, I am confident they should all Grade 70 too. Not sure about you but, I paid less than $500 for the set so it has paid for itself already. Good luck and great futures.

That's honestly one of the dumbest things NGC does. It's pretty easy to look up the composition and the S$ confuses new people thinking its an S mint.

You’d be surprised how many people think that they have all 70 coins until they receive their grades back and see a few 69s.

I thought all 18 of mine submitted were definitely 70s but PCGS disagreed and sent 4 coins back as MS69.

I’m not trying to be a jerk I’m just saying in my own experience it’s very difficult even for skilled collectors to know how many 70s they have before they send them in.

Both NGC and PCGS use G$1. Does anybody think there's a G mint?

Why not just stick with how they do ancients?

silver = AR (argentum = Latin for “silver”).
gold = AU (aurum = Latin for “gold”).

for example: This is a denarius of Vespasian. It is labeled “AR Denarius” so whoever reads it knows the coin is silver.

    No confusion about mint marks.

Well I mean if they are THAT confused maybe they shouldn’t be collecting. xD

Those coins are beautiful, I hope I can be that lucky when I get mine grade. Question, How much insurance are you purchasing and what shipping method are you using when you send them in?
