    Well, I lost out on a high-grade Rome variety and that sold for over $550.00---so I'll suggest a similar price for your rarer variety:)

    I have seen them sell for as little as $100 in VG to nearly $5,000 in sharp EF. They are popular, so they will always have a premium. The last one I had was a solid Fine, very old collection toning, sold for $450 (four years ago).

    Your not wrong, I actually want coins in the current auction, but not going to bid until I get this coin, who knows it might turn up in the mail when I am an dead and buried, with my grandkids getting it and putting it in a coke machine or something.

    I offered $500 and it was accepted immediately. Higher grade types from Ephesus sell for over $1000, so I was quite pleased, even if I paid full retail for it.

    Bing, you were close - I paid 11% of the asking price.
