That is a great coin. I'm guessing 65?

 

eh I don't know if it's that high. I'd call it a 64... I think the mark next to the mouth is too big to be any higher than a 64.

Sellers pictures

My pictures I think I (and the seller I guess) had a lot of trouble photographing this one because of the low relief. I think I did well though.

 

Latest edition. While it doesn’t look like much, some purples hues can be seen on the reverse. For $15 shipped, why not

 

Huh. I've never thought about going that route. Can you elaborate?

(And while you're at it, here's another Q: I'm a small-time collector, not a seller -- what do you do with all of the doubles that you get?)

 

Been a minute but this is one I had a customer looking for and when I seen the pics on eBay I thought it was going to be all blue.


Boy was I wrong!

I showed the customer when it got here and then I told him I didn’t want to sell it because it was too beautiful and I wasn’t expecting it to look like that. I told him I wanted to send it to CAC to see if they’d sticker it, which they did, and then I sold it to him at the same price I told him before the CAC sticker and before I seen it in hand.
I told him I wanted first dibs if he ever sold it!
They had it listed on eBay at GS bid, so not much of a gamble but it turned out well!
