I found the 1996 D dime

    I think the dine is struck over error or double struck in the head of Roosevelt on the obverse ........can someone give me some advice is this a error coin 20210215_203204.jpg

    Nope it's a normal dime with issues as I stated in the other thread thank you for posting it in the right forum now.

    Look right under to the right of his eye you can see the nose and eye of another face

    NO. It’s a normally worn dime...not an error of any kind...imo...Spark

    The surfaces have been brushed or something
    similar. They are not the natural surfaces.

    And, I don't see any doubling whatsoever in
    the photos. What you see in the area you
    mention is just numismatic pareidolia

    Nothing.. Just Paredolia. It's a normal Dime.
    If it were truly double struck there would be clear evidence of double lettering and numerals and a double struck reverse.

    Just a normal coin that has circulation wear that gives it that appearance that you see.
