You can’t tell by my avatar but this guy looks exactly like me or visa versa(with a little less hair). Does anybody know who this coin dealer is? If so please let me know.

Ain't it weird when that happens? I have sighted my own doppleganger before.

Cool looking popup book, or whaterver that is.

It is said that we all have at least one dopppleganger, with some having several. I saw mine from across a crowded mall and by the time I got over to that side, he had disappeared. Double strange for me.

Hope you find out who is in the photo. Let us know if you do.

I apparently have a real problem recognizing and remembering faces, but... my impression is that there are an awful lot of guys who look an awful lot like that, ESPECIALLY in this hobby/business!

True. Silverbeard white guys of a certain age are abundant in this hobby. Mine ain't all silver yet, but I've got the middle aged white guy paunch.

I like the guy's face, for some reason. Bet he's a cool dude.

I got in trouble patting my wife’s doppelgänger on the bottom once…. Well, it was her exact doppelgänger from the reverse anyways…..

Paddy54 Hey brother can you spare a half dime?

I met mine back in 1972 summer of ....as after HS I decided to do a cross country trip. This was the Nam era...and worried about the draft I wanted to experience life more.
Well I made it to Colorado central part of the state. A little town called Buena vista.
I found it very different than East coast life..as everyones car, jeep...etc were parked with the keys in the car. I was looking for a cheap meal...and a few beers as at my age 18 I could drink there.
The Green Parrot saloon I walked into ...looked at the menu and for $2.50 I could get 1/2 a fried chicken and veggies.
So I sit at the bar...feeling....well pretty cocky as this was one of the 1st times I could drink at a bar.
So in walks this girl...wow she is smokin... and Im sipping my draft....and she walks right up ...puts her hand on my leg....and starts kissing my neck! Now im like ....is this good ?...or bad.... and she sez...I thought you were at the other ranch? Im like ranch? What ranch?
So she's continued to come on to me....and at this point with long hair and mustache...Thinking some cowboy is going to kick my butt.
She sez whats wrong with you? And kisses me open mouth... at which time her boyfriend walked in the western swinging doors! I'm in full panic as my chicken dinner hasn't arrived...but her boyfriend has...
I look at him ...him at me...she`s like WTH? I'm like oh god....
Well he and I could of been twin brothers , they were on holiday at a dude ranch with a church group....
from Pittsburgh Pa. Well thank god! As both had the same hair color in a pony tail ,both had mustaches, both have blue eyes.. and for a minuite we both had the same girlfriend... well dinner was ready up on the bar in front of me...which was the perfect exit....stage left <<<< unbelievable my twin brother from a different mother.

Well, I don't remember his name but I had a business card of his at one time. He sells a lot of numismatic ephemera. Normally he sets up at the ANA WFOM.

You know that Dos X X let him go....to find a new face for their marketing....at which women from their 30's and up range.bombarded the company with complaints....women loved his look.

We vacationed in Buena Vista back in the mid 70's! I was a teenager. Caught some brookies and rainbows!

Despite my earlier comment, I have been mistaken for a celebrity of sorts. My wife and I were at a nice Greek restaurant on the west side and the guy at the next table was like "holy cow, that's Bill Walton!" I stood up and shook my head and he was like "oops". For the record, I am not 7-foot tall. Another time I was walking across a street at like 7am on a Sunday and some street bum was a couple 100 yds down the street and he started yelling "Hey Bill Walton!!!" over and over again. I'm thinking he was near sighted.

So I can argue that at least two guys have thought Bill Walton was my doppleganger.

Well one can always shave their dogs butt, and train them to walk backwards.....that seems to keep most others attention on the bald butt dog....of course theres a draw back... as one may get a lot of questions on why ones dog hasn't a hair on its butt!
