And because 2 Kronur was such a large amount, collectors here in Iceland agree that people simply did not have the means to take a sample and put it in a box. We were starving and living in shags eating our shoes. </p><p> </p><p>The number I say are a current number of coins known. And my samples are the finest to be found since 1982. That sample was found abroad by a man on a specific search around Europe of the rare Icelandic Kingdom coins in uncirculated condition. That coin was later given to the husband of the queen of Denmark who was a collector. That for me tells me that the story of rolls in Denmark, are most likely not true. And also the fact that the Danish mint was not allowed selling coins out of the mint.
