I have seen the collections and the grading have always been either by amateurs or just wishful thinking.&nbsp; The odd XF- looks like UNC in a collection that has the majority in F condition. As little of these coins were minted they were used till they disappeared. The coins you see here was a part of a myth I had heard and is now confirmed.&nbsp; But this was the only one that had some chance of being true the provenance was good. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In 1925 there were 100.000 Icelanders and I am not kidding when I say that maybe 50 of those had any kind of money and none of them would be considered millionaires.&nbsp; And because 2 Kronur was such a large amount, collectors here in Iceland agree that people simply did not have the means to take a sample and put it in a box.&nbsp; We were starving and living in shags eating our shoes. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The number I say are a current number of coins known. And my samples are the finest to be found since 1982. That sample was found abroad by a man on a specific search around Europe of the rare Icelandic Kingdom coins in uncirculated condition.&nbsp; That coin was later given to the husband of the queen of Denmark who was a collector. That for me tells me that the story of rolls in Denmark, are most likely not true. And also the fact that the Danish mint was not allowed selling coins out of the mint.
