Found this one in a German auction, and I got it for a little less than $150, which includes the premium and shipping. It is a lifetime issue in fairly high grade. I really like the high relief on these early issues, and the detail on the eagle and round positioning of the letters were different than most of this type. The plough mintmark almost looks like a pedestal. Tarsos mint. Price 3019. Here is the other one I bought to be used as trade fodder to get a more-valuable coin I have been eying for a while. It was the same price.
Cool man! Recently I purchased one too - Kings of Macedon, temp. Kassander – Alexander (son of Kassander). Circa 310-294 BC. AR Tetradrachm, 26mm, 16.8 g, 6h, Amphipolis mint, in the name and types of Alexander III. Obv.:Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev.: Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, Λ above torch; ΔI monogram below throne. Not a lifetime but chunky and very pleasing.
Yay, nice tets everyone. @Jwt708 I almost bid on that one. LoL. Glad it went to a great collector like you. @TypeCoin971793 welcome to the club, man. Awesome buy. Here is my ticket to the club, which I apologize if you are tired of seeing but it's the only one I have.
Terrific catch @TypeCoin971793 !! The first seems like a 'bargain' for the price.... Great posts guys!! My modest example---a rather worn and humble drachm....and very cheap LOL:
I need to get more coins of the Divine Alexander! Alexander III ( The Great) posthumous drachm. Struck under Lysimachos between 310-301 BCE Abydos Mint 3.87 grams
$150 incl shipment, thats a steal , congrats, TypeCoin. This one is on his way from CNG, I like the Tets from Alexander and his succesors, the Diadochen.

Very nice coin & a very nice deal. IMHO you got a really nice deal on that coin. This is my lifetime tet example:
I'm not generally a Greek collector, but I have two Alexanders - a Temnos tetradrachm and Babylon stater. These to me were just too beautiful not to have. I believe the stater is a lifetime issue, and the tet is 2nd century BC. The tet is quite an exotic variation, and I just had to have it! The OP Tarsus Mint coin has a certain character and style, I can see why you bought it!
I've been doing some research on these coins to judge rarity and value. The first is a Price 3019, struck from 327-323. It is fairly common and worth a little more than I paid for it. I really like it, and I think it was worth every penny I paid. https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=42108 The second one was a surprise. It is apparently from the scarce Ake mint, and lifetime issues are nearly impossible to find for sale. As I did my research, I learned that the Ake mint was the only one from Alexander's reign to date their coins, which appeared as a reign year underneath Zeus' forearm. This one says CY 20, or 327/6 BC, which is the earliest dated coin of Alexander the Great (or maybe the Greek empire?). The attribution is Price 3250. I could only find two sale results, one for $1250 and another for $1200, though they were both better than mine. https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=102382 https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=161888
Gorgeous examples Greg!! I'll take the funny looking' yellow one off your hands...it must 'clash' too much with all those silvery colored types you have
