    Congrats! It’s a nice milestone. Seems a decent deal for £90.

    It was decades before I had an Athenian owl. This one sort of fell into my lap as part of a four-coin lot that was offered to me in a private deal at a price I could not refuse. Also considering the other three coins I got in that lot, it turned out to be one of the best deals I ever made.

    In the owl department, for years before that, I had this little Taras drachm. I still have it, and it is one of my favorite coins.
