buddy, friend, homey....think of it this way, if ebay didnt exist, where would your parents sell your junk? they sell YOUR stuff on ebay, therefore, YOU need ebay for the sale of your item to occur. do you not get that???

No, you do not get that.

I buy things I can sell on eBay, and then I buy things I can sell at flea markets.

There are things I can sell better on eBay that I can at flea markets.

If my option of selling on eBay ceased to exist, then I would not buy that stuff, or I would buy it if I can still sell it at a flea market and make money on it.

The reason I sell the things I do on eBay is because they sell for more money on there.

But I don't HAVE to do it, nor do I need it. Like I said it only makes up for around 15% of my annual volume.

I don't even have to do that, either. I work, too. I do it because I'm an entrepreneur.

I don't hate, I disregard. If I don't like something, I disregard it.

Hate leaves too much bitterness in one's attitude that is usually taken out on other people.

Because it seems that many people on here act like eBay is the "bar none" place to sell anything. It couldn't be further from the truth.

I think the classified section on here could do better if people got that vacuous idea out of their heads.

Too many people don't sell stuff on here because they sell it on eBay.

Too many people here don't buy stuff because not only do sellers not sell enough items here, the buyers are also clouded with the idea that it's all on eBay.

To make it even worse, they sell stuff on eBay and then link the auction back to CT so they hope someone buys it on eBay for a 13% loss when they could of sold it on here for FREE.

(although I admit I'm guilty of the above, but only because I sell stuff on eBay that isn't easily salable here like world coins.)

I don't know if these people are unrealized masochists or what, but why on earth would you advertise to sell something for a loss, when you could try it here first for FREE (and I often do).

 

I understand that you don't HAVE to sell there. But you DO sell there. You have been denying that you sell there...I never said you needed to sell there.

 

The people who's account you are using to sell with because you cannot get your own.

 

my friend...this is almost scary...i knew someone like this once...lets just say he is either in jail or a mental hospital now, definitely one or the other, doesnt matter what time or year it is, it is one or the other.

this is the last time im gonna try, and maybe it will explain why noone buys anything from you who knows who you are from this forum, and certainly noone buys twice...and its not just your quality of product or shady business practices you so helplessly highlight in your posts...

with that said...

you said "I HATE" 26 times in one post....so, yes, you hate. there is not backpeddling.

you dont NEED ebay, humans only need air, food, water and shelter, but you NEED ebay to realize a higher profit than the flea market. so you need it and choose to sell on it through your parents who are acting as middlemen or brokers as denoted by your commission you pay them, but you are still the seller boss.

and finally...you ARE those people you are speaking about. start a thread where people vote if you dont want to believe it. you are literally the guy spraying brawndo on the plants man....

When you can do without something, then it's a want, not a need. Air, food, water and shelter are needs.

I can do without eBay, ergo I don't need it. If eBay's headquarters fell off the face of the earth, then I would be just a-ok.

Saying you hate something on the internet has about as much emotional fortitude as saying "LOL", and actually laughing out loud.

I rarely actually hate something. Hatred stems from anger, and I'm probably the most even-tempered person you will ever meet.

Someone pisses me off? I just disregard them, ignoring someone makes for a much happer person then getting angry, then your just fighting fire with fire.

 

I dont get why tour concerned what others do. I like Ebay. It works for what I need.

Have you asked us why we do it? You may learn something if you ask?

Well I guess if you wanted to if someone wanted to buy it off CT you de-list it and then sell it to them.

But if your being charged a listing fee, then it's money wasted.

if you say something, such as a simple word like "hate" without meaning it, what else should we not listen to that you say? my assumption is everything. i am sure you will have ridiculous explanation as to why the sky is neon green or why chimps are highly skilled in calculus.

and the craziest part is that you claim you make 15% more selling on ebay. tim, you cannot tie your shoes, but you are running profit and loss and margin reports on your 2x2 sales. holy mother of god man youre whacked.
