I don't remember buying this Anon Roman Republic denarius...

    Well this is scary.

I was looking through my bookmarked receipts and noticed that I hadn't yet received a package of three coins purchased at auction last month.

I always bookmark my purchases right afterwards. Unfortunately, this auction house does not have static addresses and the three coins bookmarked now show the current auction's lot number XXX.

The receipt just listed this as "Anonymous AR denarius". Hmm.

The auction house does not have archives. Sixbid does though-- I just realized that today. I found the lot number and the coin. I have no idea why I bought it. I've been shopping hard for coins pertaining to a very specific collection I'm working on. This does not fit the bill. I didn't even have it on my watch list at Sixbid. It's not on any of my 'want' lists. Yet I bought it. And probably paid too much for it since I hadn't even researched it for comparisons. It's a lovely design but I don't even know anything about this coin :(

I guess I was in a bit of a coin buying frenzy that week. Scary.

I'd better slow down and be more careful.

TIF, that is a beautiful RR. If you don't want/need it, I think I have a place to put it. PM me if you are wanting to get rid of her.

Huh? ... I agree that is a very cool coin ...

... unfortunately, I am a wee bit too deep in a few other bids at the moment ...

NOTE => but if you and Bing don't end-up agreeing upon a price, then I'm sure that at some point in the future I'd be willing to take that baby off of your hands!!

Oh, I've "accidentally" bought a number of coins. This wasn't one of them. I'm actually frightened because I remember almost nothing about this. THAT'S the scary part

(and no, I'm not a drinker)

=> curious? ... are you even of drinking age? ... or are you Bing's age?

=> man, I don't have a handle on you, yet? (not that it's any of my biz) ...

Regardless, gang ... I'm gonna go have a wonderful walk along the River with my gal and my two retarted hounds (life is good on this NFL Sunday!!)

    Cheers, coin-family!!

110010 orbits @ 365(ish) orbits per year, would be like 300 and some change.. ok so only a few hundred years old...
