    You might get a quick and accurate response if you move this thread to world coins. It is definately not ancient.

    That is a Bohemian Raitpfennig (reckoning token). And no, 1589 is not ancient ;) so I moved it here. Such pieces were used with calculation boards; at the end of this file (PDF) you see quite a few photos. Images 63-66 look similar to your token, I think.

    Thanks for moving it here.
    I followed the link, and its definately No.64, but I dont understand german and I couldnt find anywhere else data on these tokens made during the reign of Rudolf II
