Some 1868 nickels are said to exist with this hub but have not been confirmed .</p><p>Now 1868 dates with the reverses&nbsp; of 1868 have broken letters on 4 of the 5 reverses.</p><p>This 69 however&nbsp; has two items on its&nbsp; reverse&nbsp; that makes me believe it&#039;s&nbsp;&nbsp; a new variety .
