i did a "no-no" but...

Just a quick suggestion if you're acid treating these...

First, take a few tablespoons of baking soda, mix it into some water, I use a small bowl.

Remove the coin from the acid, rinse it in COLD water.

Drop the coins in the baking soda mix for a minute or so.

Re-Rinse in COLD water

This will neutralize any acid remaining on the coin's surface.
