So I let my son talk me into stopping at the corner store for some icecream. I gave him $2.00 to run in and grab what he wanted. When he came out with his icecream cone, I usually let him keep the change. He said "Dad, I think you want your change back." I told him he could keep it, but he insisted. When he handed me the two quarters I could here the distinctive silver ting. I've taught him to look at the dates and mint marks on pocket change, we sometimes get rolls from the banks to search. We went back to the store for another icecream but no luck the second time, lol. 20150727_164345.jpg 20150727_164359.jpg

Maybe it's my eye's playing up but is there a number 2 to the east of the 1?

To bad the 1932 was missing a mint mark. I let my son pick one for his collection and he went with the 1932.

Im not sure as i am new so i am probably wrong but i can see some kind of ghosting of a number 2 (19412),and i would question the number 4 also.

I'm not sure whether I'd say "still in circulation" or "back in circulation". I'm guessing that these were recently liberated from a collection, hoard, or old change jar.

That '41 appears to be in excellent condition. Say an XF - AU?

I see what you are talking about. Appears to be smaller than the other numbers. I think it's just the haze on the coin making it look like a 2. Good observation though.

I figured some kid broke into his parents coin collection to get some icecream. They are definitely keepers for me.

Be glad your boy's got common sense, please get him to breed! We need to dilute the airhead population as much as possible! What's the 32 Washington's mm?

Lol, No mint mark on the 1932, wish it did. My boy makes me proud everyday. He has a great head on his shoulders and shares alot of the same interests as myself. Although coins and guns are an expensive hobby, he will be left with a great collection when I'm gone. Thanks
