    The pit at the back of Abe's neck looks like Struck Thru Debris. It's a big hole with no raised metal around it.
    Reverse is just damage, lots of raised metal there.

    When I was in the USAF, we were taught to never answer a question if we don't understand what's being asked. I "assume" you're talking about that sinkhole in Abe's neck, but you really don't mention what your concerns are. Is that it?

    Even if it is a mint error who the heck would want it in that shape? It's not a mint error, BTW, I have to agree with my esteemed colleagues on that.

    LOL. I absolutely love those struck through asphalt coins. I find at least one every time I take a long walk throughout the city.
