There are 5 of these medals in Iceland and it is not known how many do exist as no records were made by the royal mint in Denmark. It is designed by S. Lindahl a royal engraver at the time. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Frederick VIII was loved by all Icelanders and his visit was a big thing in 1907. People came together to lay roads for him trought the country to Geysit to make his trip better.
