View attachment 307141 Another 1964 Kennedy Proof. I hope the pictures are good enough to offer a guess. I will be sending this and several other coins in to be graded and will report back my findings. I'm taking a poll on the grade of this one, so feel free to offer your "two cents". The best thing to do is set your camera's white balance to auto and shoot the coin with a white background.
The problem is the coin still looks golden. The point is that we need photos of what the coin looks like in "real life", and I doubt it looks golden in-hand. Here is what I tried just messing around for a few minutes...let me know if it resembles your coin in-hand.
Ok. I will give it another shot. No pressure anyone. The poll is just for fun. I am sending it in anyway. I know that it is tough to grade a coin on pictures alone.
You are correct and proofs are twice as tough. Images can hide hairlines. It's a nice coin but the grading fees are more that the value of the coin.
Thank you George. It might not be worth it sending off but I have a few others I would like to know about as well. I think PF67 or 68 but I am no expert. That's why I'm here asking you good people. I'm planning on sending it off next week.
I'll say PF67. Of course I have absolutely no grading skills. I do wish you good luck with your submissions though.
I don't like the spotting on this coin. I'm fairly confident it comes back Proof 66. For the record which entity are you grading with?
JMO, but since it's not the accented hair variety, if you don't think it will grade higher than a PR66, it really is not worth submitting.
