you are right its not worth having a contest. in fact you can be sure that there are 2 people in this forum where such notes would blend right in. You (but you are giving it out) so the only other person left is me :D

BTW what was the last contest and how come i wasnt made aware of it?

    :D

You were part of it...the Paper Money Contest that you had to find the right source to get to the answers...remember??? Was that not difficult??

I've been there for making one or two or eight buys too many in a given time frame. But enjoy it, that note is stellar you lucky dog.

BQ...thank you for the very kind words. I have been after this note for so long it is not funny! They are just plain hard to find! While it is not the most expensive note in the collection, it ranks right up there as #3.

I have plans for a few more Nationals and other Large size while keeping my eyes peeled for the NY notes I need to finish the collection with...

I must say that I was looking at your Bust Halves and Holy coins and WOW!!
What a collection you have going!!

Keep up the great work and as always,

    Semper Fi

    Hey Speedster....Happy Fall to you!!!

She let me back in when ever I started clawing at the back door and peeing in the yard!! LOL
She is a great wife and understands my obsession..she likes the Fractionals the best! When she ask's how much did this one or that one cost I say...ugh...well it is a very special note Sweetheart and will add value to our son's inheritance some day!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Wait til I find a nicer 1863 LT, then RickieB can cry in his suds. My current 1863 LT is a washer, but I do have some nice 1869's and 1880's though.

Come on Dave, do you really think I would shed a tear??? LOL

Not a chance....if you have the opportunity to get a better note then go for it! I am not in competition with anyone on my collection, nor am I trying to best anyone either...I am just trying to obtain a personal goal with a high standard!
You get my drift right?? Beside's I know that I am not the only one willing to drop 10K on a note either! Many of us here would do it in a heartbeat if it were the right one or two....

    Good hunting to you SM

Hook em' Horns, I don't watch the games but I hear about them from Stephen. I am from Minnesota so I hear about it every time they lose. Good Luck. Cheryl
