    No clue. I reckon you could. I use 2x2 Saflips, open position 2x4, (keeps from breaking when you bend open and closed all the time). As long as the pockets accommodate 4” open length, I would say it would work.

    When you remove a coin from a slab, you might lose the grading or open yourself to new scratches but the coin will still be 'fine style'. I agree that the opinion rendered by the NGC duo is worth retaining but the coin really does not need plastic to be a worthwhile specimen. I am glad they agree. It is Fine Style. The similarity to die work on Roman asses of similar scale is obvious. I know there are many experts who cringe when we talk about coins beig of the 'same hand' but this one certainly makes you want to call it more than a little Roman.

    Well said Doug. If the coin can overcome the limitations of my phone's camera to convey just a little bit of its beauty, then that is saying something! Being able to hold something like this in hand is what collecting ancients is all about.
