Same seller as the "PCGS" version I posted here earlier. This is what I meant in the previous post about the slab "prongs"- I call his the typical "Chinese NGC" version. Genuine example on the right courtesy NGC (on-line cert). Best, Jack.
Was looking for the auction number to report it, then I realized who was posting. I assume you've got it under control. Thanks for putting pictures in the thread for safekeeping!
He knows these 1893 S Morgans are fake since the previous auction was shut down but he lists another one (or the same one in a new fake slab) anyway. That's willful and really despicable. Anyway, I see this auction is gone too, just now. Great work Jack!
@Jack D. Young Thanks for the post Jack and thanks for all you do for the numismatic community. If anyone is not aware here of some of Jack's work, here is a link to a recent article. Mr. Young has also received awards for his many contributions over the years. "Book 'Em Danno": A Counterfeit 1847 Hawaiian Large Cent! (coinweek.com)
These folks putting stuff like that on Ebay, why aren't they put in jail? it is selling a known Counterfeit collectable. Instead he gets a slap on the fingers from Ebay so he can change his name and re-post it.
