Gentlemen - I've edited out numerous posts that crossed over the line as to what is acceptable to be discussed here and what is not when it comes to things of a political nature.

Please make an effort to stay on the numismatic side of the discussion.

Awesome and choice assemblage of Hungarian coins! Thanks to all. I wish I could have read the 'edited' conversation between Siberian Man and panzerman; I am certain it would have been interesting. In any case, here's a mint set I picked up in 1995 while in Hungary, 3. Republic.

Forgive me, the sir. You are right. We really distracted from numismatics and began to discuss policy. I recognize, it was inappropriate.

The 1 to 100 forint coins I like, mostly due to how the digits are shaped and placed. "Different" in an interesting way; the current 200 HUF circulation coins have a similar style.

I really enjoyed visiting the parliament building in Budapest and had to buy this when I saw it at the Numismata in Munich.

I would say it differently, a passion for beautifull coinage:happy:, deep, empty pockets:( One can also say it like this, poor in paper currency backed by nothing today, but rich in real money ie: gold/ silver/ platinum/ paladium coins.
