I used to love crazy girls...

Nowadays, I prefer my girlfriend. Cute, skinny, smart blonde chick... holds a great conversation and deals with my insanity fairly well.

I didn't get back into coins until well after we started dating... 3+ years, actually. So that's the best trick... drop the hobby for a bit.

 

All I did was mention some coin facts to my friends girlfriend and now she seems a bit obsessed with me. But not the COINS! I really should have kept my mouth shut, huh?

 

My girlfriend is interested in my hobby. She likes looking at my coins and asking me questions about them. And she says she wants to go to a coin show with me. She says she is interested in collecting SLQ's. But I know that she would never actually spend any money on coins. I think she just thinks I sound intelligent when I talk coins, and she likes that.

 

idk guys...if a girl thinks "coin collecting" is nerdy/stupid....
I would just have to dump her and move on to the next one,
like I did my last Ex-girl....there are alot of girls out there
who better be interested in my hobby lol jk

Ah, the elusive coin collecting girl. Dreamed about and talked about far more commonly than ever seen. One of the rarest creatures on the planet.

I married one who basically puts up with it, and doesn't mind a living room dominated by 600 books on ancient coins, and I thought I was lucky!

 

My fiancee was a circulation collector when she used to work at various young person cashier jobs. She had small boxes full of drummer quarters, silver halves, and hundreds of wheaties. She would even have co workers keep odd looking coins for her. Not to mention that for christmas all she ever asks her father for is a gold and silver coin =). Needless to say she is understanding of my habit, but also keeps me in check so I don't spend quite too much on coins. But I sure do love that I have a woman who made and wears her many pairs of holed early half dimes in xf+ conditions. When I go to shops, she just asks if they have any holed coins she can make earrings out of. Speaking of which, they are always commented on by other women as well, great christmas present for your wives fellas! PM me for details!

 

what do you mean by pottery? pot farming? that was a joke. lead farmer? play on pot farming?
