How to remove glue from paper money...

    If it is modern scotch tape I also recommend acetone.

    Use a hair dryer to soften the tape's glue so you can remove the tape. heat it from the paper back, and lift the tape off. No idea about how to remove the glue thats left. need to use something that doesn't remove the ink. Try it on some other bills first to see the reaction.

    I just used acetone to remove tape glue from a CU 1981 dollar.
    It worked far better than I thought

    Did it leave any evidence that tape glue was on the bill?
