Can we just answer his question already?

The problem with buying coins as opposed to other assets are the large fees associated with doing such transactions. For example, if you buy low sell high with a publicly traded corporation, the commissions don't really have a large impact on your investment. With coins you may be able to buy low but who are you going to sell to? In order to sell on eBay, you will lose 12% of the final price. That means you need to flip for at least ~12% more than you paid just to break even!

It is very difficult making money flipping coins. The only ones that can make some money at it are the dealers. But then again, they have huge overhead and taxes take away from their gains. At your age, your best bet would be to invest your time which don't involve start up costs. This means doing handwork, physical labor. That way you can't lose. Or with any money you have save you could buy coins and hold for 10+ years.

To summarize it is extremely difficult to make an income flipping coins. The time required to flip coins could be used elsewhere to make more money.

If you have nothing at all useful to say, why say it? I said this before, Im wondering the logic of people these days.

First get some duct tape, a pitching wedge and a buffalo, preferably stuffed for safety sake. Then buy silver dimes in bulk, wait till the dollar collapses, and sell them individually to all the people who only own giant pieces of bullion.

Along with dazed and confused and half baked?

"Hey man, you got any coins?"

    "nah, not on me"

"It'd be a lot cooler if you did."
