Pick a forum. Let's say you have a mint error question. You would go to the Error Coins forum. Click on create thread. Put in a simple title. Skip the poll. Skip the tags. On your first post ask simple questions just like You created in this last post. Then You will see the upload a file button. It will take you to choose an action section. Click on your files. Then search for the picture of your coin. Then hit full image to enlarge in the picture in the post. Click save. Then create thread. This thread explains It well. Read it from the beginning.
I keep getting an " insufficient privileges" message on the forums I would like to post to. What does this mean?
I'm new and get the same obsticle. But if it helps, I don't see a "create thread" tab/option/button/thing
At the main menu of a forum, look for a button called, Post New Thread. That's what you use to create a new thread.
It was the day after I joined that I could start posting. I could add comments to other posts immediately.
I bought a digital Dino-Lite scanner. It is the best coin camera I have ever found. It works amazingly good.
I could not figure out how to post a picture on the 1-1 chat room where a CT member wanted to ask about a certain coin and I wanted to upload a picture. I had to go to his Email to send the picture.
Ugh... I keep getting the dreaded "can't post due to insufficient privileges" when trying to post in the Forums under "Currency". Also getting the same error message when trying to access the Forum "Rules" Any help on getting this fixed would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!
Welcome to C.T. you need to post in the correct forum. "Errors" in your case. You'll receive more/better replies.
Hi Maggie. I don't know much, yet, but I do know enough to know that is an error. If your talking bout that D mint mark being way up there on the right. Are you new to coin searching / collecting.
Thank you and I apologize. I don't know how to delete this post so any help would be much appreciated.
No need to delete your post. Just try to find the correct forums for your coins, and enjoy the hobby. PS, you have a short time to edit posts before they become permanent. Only an hour or two I think.
