how to naturally tone coins long term?

    I said I 'hope' they tone more. Will they? I would think so. There is silica gel placed in the drawer with them. I do not have them in an airtight vacuum and since there are chemicals in the air......... Additionally, I purchased some Intercept Shield albums and never used them. I didn't like the look and most of my coins were already in Danscos' so I just left them in there. I think you're splitting hairs here. (me too.) Let's just say that I think they have and will continue to have 'market acceptable' toning. (I don't think I ever said it was not okay to stack coins.) IMHO.

    I could have sworn I deleted that and put never mind. Look I'm actually with you in a way, If it's a accelerated process like chemical or direct heat other than the sun then it should be artificial, but if stacked in a window or placed in an album and you want them to tone then thats fine and it shouldn't be artificial.
