Thank you for posting this. I do this I walk into a bank and ask for a $25 box of pennies. And I have a machine that sorts the Pre 1982 98% pure copper ones out from the rest. Than I take the bad ones back to a different bank (So I do not get the sames pennies back) and than I place the copper ones into boxes than rinse and repeat. It also may be helpful if there was a free coin counter at a bank you are a customer with.
Hoarding copper cents is easy and fun to do, but hoarders have to keep in mind the basic principles and objects for starting or continuing the hobby.
After accumulating copper pennies how do you get copper prices For pennies who gives copper melt price for pennies per 82
I don't think anyone does, at least not if you're using Coinflation as your guide, your best guide would be the scrap metal value for brass or bronze to give you an idea as to how much you can get for them in today's market. If, however, you wish to smelt the pennies and sell the 100% pure metals separately, than you might be able to get the full Coinflation price, depending on whether the end buyer is a direct investor or if he's a refiner/recycling agent.
