Hey BooksB4Coins, I give you permission to do what's necessary to knock some sense into me if I ever post something stupid. :thumb:

    Point taken.

I understand you have nothing against me, but your behavior indicates otherwise.

There has occurred many times on this forum where I have committed an act of kindness.

Whether it be helping a newbie out, identifying a coin, exposing dangerous business operations to the public (THR for example), etc.

Point is, you have never complimented me, thanked me, or anything.

As I recall, you have done nothing in support of me.

After checking out your profile, you have not given one person on here a "like", since you have joined the forum back in Feb.

I don't mind when people get negative, and I expect negative criticism mixed in with positive criticism on anything I post.

However you have done your fair share of negative criticism, more than enough, and quite frankly, more than most people would tolerate.

My sudden outburst towards you has been from several months of being more than nice, and dealing with a lot more than most would deal with. Everyone has a breaking point, and to reach mine takes quite a bit of work, believe me.

My disposition towards you would do a 180 if your started being more positive.

Judging someone's "Likes" given would be like judging people by the number of posts they've accumulated over time rather than the quality of posts they give.

"Likes" here, just like Facebook and any other site they are used on are basically meaningless. I wouldn't judge anyone's generosity or character for not using a simple utility built into a website.

Here's a good example, GDJMSP who has over 33k posts has never given a like to any post or person. Are you saying he's a bad person Detecto?

I think I must be a really nice person, since I've given 1779 likes so far! Glad there's a non-subjective way to differentiate between people who are positive (they give likes) and those who are not (they don't give likes). That makes Doug very not positive, me pretty positive, and Detecto (with 67 likes given so far) close to Doug at not positive.

    Hmmmmm.

I guess this thread has turned into a thread about dealing with identification of a persons personality off of their behaviors, where's the doc/psychologist!

Indeed. If one wants a group of items enough, I suggest nuking each with enormous snipes.

    That's it. It's that simple.
