2009? You mean to tell me no one has told him about the self checkout at WalMart yet? Opps.

While it looks as if they are his notes, the point is he makes stuff up constantly and does not have the self respect to admit when he is wrong. How many times has 19lyds asked him what is going on with the Franklin Mint lawsuit? Detecto has seen this yet ignores it and goes on his merry way to start another nonsense thread. The other guys are right... he is just screaming for attention and deserves everything he is given. This is what he thrives off of and CT is his new "personal playground". No one who sincerely wants to learn would ever act the way our little hero does.

I am surprised that those bills are going so much over face value, they are not even low...

I am sitting with a stack of $5 bills from 1981 on my desk, 19 consecutive. I guess maybe I should put them up on ebay.

If it was a shill, why would they wait until the last few seconds to bid?
The shill would give you enough time to see that you need to bid higher in order to complete your set.

Please notice that the only threads that Detecto gets beat up on are the threads that he starts.
Perhaps he has some kind of sick fetish that makes him thrive on the ridicule he habitually opens himself up to.

    Update:

I left the seller 7 negative feedback for shill bidding.

Which, all of them managed to disappear off the seller's account. Hmm...

Anyway, I phoned eBay this morning and explained what happened to them.

tyfcurrency is the seller that I purchased these notes from.

Then we go to user dhyn01 who has over 400 postive feedback from the above seller.

The dhny01 user has 100% bidding activity with this seller, and opened an account just days apart from the main seller.

This information was more than enough to make the eBay rep I talked to well aware of this issue, and they agreed it looked highly suspicious.

So they are going to be doing an investigation on this seller.

Detecto, WHY would the seller have a shill bid at the last second? Why would he not just cancel the auction? Sodude brought up an excellent point, sniping with a shill is pretty stupid, since it negates the entire POINT of shilling. If the price is not high enough, I have seen sellers cancel the auction at the last minute.

I think all of your negative feedback got removed because the seller protested it.

    (a) report the shilling

Being as you have NO proof of a shill taking place (appearances can be deceiving) and considering your crusade for fairness/honesty on ebay, maybe you could explain this...

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/190675989542

Which is worse... a possible shill or proof that someone is buying from an account they also sell with. It's all in the completed listings and feedback (mid 2nd page), my friend. Maybe you should report this one the next time.

I'm getting real tired of you. You post nothing but negative things on every thread I create. Do you really have nothing better to do with your life then to take the time to do this?

Seriously dude! Knock it off! Find something better to do than to troll every one of my threads and fill it with negativity.

Whoa, peace guys????? What is this? EBay is just that kind of place, it's not 100% foolproof. There are always negative attributes of every dealer, auction house, and website service. We all have to live with it...

Everyone just needs to get off this ride, the blood pressure of this thread is now 225/130.
