I&#039;ve yet to buy a coin for these folders... the fun of searching circulated coins, for me, is finding something in circulation.</p><p><br /></p><p>I&#039;m a recycler, so I have several of the pint size plastic cups from Chinese takeout ;~&gt; that I use to sort, and they stack well with small amounts of coins in them.</p><p><br /></p><p>For example, if I&#039;m sorting through a gob of pennies,&nbsp; I&#039;ll toss all my &#039;82&#039;s in a cup, toss all possible funky coins in a cup, toss all coins that may appear in better condition than what I currently have in my folder in a cup, toss all my wheaties in a cup... etc.&nbsp; When I&#039;ve gone through a good bit, I&#039;ll go through one of the cups to check for good stuff.&nbsp; If I&#039;m in the middle of this and my wife says &quot;Clear the table!&quot; I stack the cups out of the way.</p><p><br /></p><p>It may not be the tidiest option, but it is organized.&nbsp; If I fill up a cup I move it to... my safe place <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie2" alt=";)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> and if I want I can dump it on the table &amp; just play with the coins&nbsp; (i.e. I have cups just for the old nickels that don&#039;t measure up to what I already have in the folder, but I gotta keep &#039;em... &#039;cause they&#039;re old!&nbsp; Is this weird?)</p><p><br /></p><p>In other words put your finest examples in folders, your exceptional varieties in mylar/cardboard...&nbsp; but if you just wanna horde general circulation coins, put &#039;em in bags, boxes, or cups <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie2" alt=";)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
