    What you said is a lie and you know it. You could at least tell the truth in your post.

    You'll never understand with that attitude. I did not lie and my experience with you is first hand. Don't be such a drama queen. Go back to your one-liners and forget it.

    Funny, how all of a sudden the tables are turned when you want clarity on a short comment. Keep digging, get a second opinion on your vague, short, intrusive posts and I'm sure you'll find it, eventually.

    1. Ms66 increased 38% but total coins increased 50%. All I see is either 66 is harder to get or not as many were submitted. You can't fixate on 38% without addressing the 50% total increase

    If your claim is that out of the 50% more coins submitted most were crackouts it would make a more convincing argument to state this up front because without addressing it you have 50% more coins but only 38% more 66's.

    2. The variance is going to give you a statistically more accurate indicator then the total numbers. If you are going to refer to raw data sets to make a point one should understand statistics prior to pontificating not after.

    Now, if 38% out of the 50% increase were all in MS66, then that would be drastic.;)

    Yes you sucked me in with your lies and your troll. You should be happy. It's easy to see that you can not be believed.

    I've read most of the 7 pages and not one sentence in the entire thread will effect the way I have collected or will collect. I think a couple of you guys just like to hear yourself be soooooo smart.

    I'm pretty sure I can truthfully tell how I received, interpreted and responded to one of your upstanding forum citizen, top quality posts.:rolleyes: Thank you for the sheer pleasure of having your presence in one of my topics and engaging me in conversations in many others. You are truly an asset and an aspiration to live up to here on CT, for a despicable liar and troll like me.:rolleyes: What would I do without you?:meh:

    Won't change mine either. I do appreciate the questioning of some of the elements, especially when they stem from a source of "unquestionable CT authority" on just about everything, in just about every topic. I also appreciate comments that illustrate the delivery method used by such an "unquestionable CT authority". If even a handful of individuals realize that two plus two does not equal four in the concepts of this "unquestionable CT authority", then the given topic and overall the forum will prove to be very useful, educational and fun in the process.

    Useful=NO
    Educational=YES, you learn who the smarty pants are.
    FUN=NO...by a long shot.

    You know what they say about subjective opinions.;) We're both right. There are lots of threads out there and we're free to choose which ones are for us. I've dug up a few old ones on the topic of grading and they were very interesting. The same old song and dance, but, the coin related subject matter always differs. I enjoyed the laughs, info and found them very useful. Better than just swallowing the regurgitated leftovers solely based on who they come from.

    I think that it shows real class to call someone a liar yet not cite the post where he is lying. It makes it quite difficult if not impossible to then respond to your claims.
    I find it interesting that you are too busy to quote but have plenty of time to throw out insults.

    Bravo

    Doug:

    I do believe that I have found the discrepancy in the population reports.

    The cover refers to 8 million graded.
    It does NOT say that they were slabbed.

    Therefore, the difference of #X is simple:
    Those were the pieces that were submitted, examined and not slabbed [remember in those days you got a body bag, not a genuine holder].
    Also, even today, genuine holders would not show, nice they are not graded, simply (for example) "Genuine, AU details".

    That would not be graded, even though slabbed, therefore not counted in the census.

    phew, I hope this makes sense.

    I still hold out hope that one day you will find it possible to post an informative non hostile or insulting post. Maybe one day.....

    It is clear that you do not understand what is being said here and that you will never understand, unless you are able to find and interpret your own forum posts. I'm not even sore over your belittling remarks. You should learn how to let go of things that you just can't understand. Do you understand?:D:p

    Ok I totally agree with post #112

    Now if you are talking about post #111
    Then I simply go back to what I said, you have and make time to throw out insults but can't seem to find the time to back up your statements.

    This thread has turned into one of the epic debates between Doug and myself. We hold fundamental differences in our beliefs as they relate to numismatics but we are both very knowledgeable. Neither of us is trying to show off, rather we are simply trying to present our point of view to the best of our ability to convince the other readers of the forum that our position is correct.

    Your only contribution to this thread is to characterize those with more knowledge than you as "smarty pants." Since you don't have the ability to engage in the debate, you just want a little attention with your trolling posts.

    So while I may disagree vehemently with Doug and some of his debate tactics, I do respect his opinion and experience. That is much more than I can say about you.

    I appreciate the debates. Learning tons. In fact, I think you guys should start doing YouTube debates on grading.
