It was in 1998, I was about 40. There were not a lot of items on ebay in 98. I found ebay in 96 i think by typing my house number in out of curiosity. Back then their address was 247.com (my house number), and they had about 1000 pez dispensers and a handfull of other misc junk.
Been an ebayer since Dec 06, 1997. Got my anniversary coming up I guess. I was 39 at the time. Geez that makes me almost a half century young.
12.....I bought a couple of random farthings dirt cheap ( they must be worth 10 times the price I bought them for!)
and I feel like I have been donating to the cause (SSI) for half a century. (and don't think that I'll ever collect.)
I've been a member since 1997, but I have never sold coins on eBay... I've bought many coins and currency items on eBay and I have sold other misc stuff....
