It is a nice coin, I love barbers, but what you will find is that even for raw coins on ebay people tend to pay pretty close to what the PCGS price guide says.(Im assuming it happens on ebay uk as well. Chances are you can get that same coin for 15-20$us graded in PCGS plastic which will be a much better purchase than buying it raw for even a couple quid less. Especially for common dates like these that are not worth grading, but somehow for some reason or another ended up getting submitted even thought the cost of grading makes the coin pretty much free at sale. It may be that in the UK you might have to wait a little longer to find such an example im not sure how active you guys are with US issues but it will be worth it. Ive stumbled on your posts and it looks like you have some starter raw US coins to play with for now and I think the graded route is much better for now. In the future, probably years, you will come full circle and hope to cherrypick form the raws(if there are any left), but you will need to have developed a keen eye for this and it will most likely be in a couple of series that you can even do this with once you get there.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
