No sarcasm intended when I said "great information" I could return it if I don't like it,I'm not prejudice against clad kennedy's tho so who knows.
That's the last year they issues forty-percenters. There were two of them: a business strike and a proof.
by all means I would certainly ask for a refund! If it is silver you got a heck of a deal for the melt value is near $11 at this point. Best of luck and please let us know what happens. Perhaps the seller is uninformed. I don't feel it is that pretty of a coin, to many problems. Although a look at some of the items the seller has sold makes on wonder. hmm, hopefully more sage folks will show up with an opinion -Walter
I got the coin and weighed it up. It's a clad :/ I contacted the seller and he gave me a number to reach him so he could apologize. He offered to refund my money and let me keep the coin. I told him that wasn't necessary I wasn't mad and I wasn't going to leave him bad feedback. ( I am feeling nice today ) Then he said that recently he had received 3 PCGS slabbed Jefferson nickles and instead of giving me my $4.25 back, he would send me 1 PCGS slabbed Jefferson and I could still keep the Kennedy( This is the nicest Ebayer in the world ) So in the end I am satisfied. I almost feel like I ripped him off now lol.
Glad to hear it all worked out for. He made a mistake and is correcting it with good customer service. Sounds like you did find a good eBay dealer.
Actually he mis-represented the coin so he is the one who was ripping someone off. I hope you learn a lesson from all this. Slabbed Jeff's are difficult to sell unless their something special. practically free, well many are anyways. good luck kid. :thumb:
