How much do you think this 1972 S penny might be worth in the condition it’s in?

While it is nice for it's age it would still only be worth face value in my opinion. It would have to be much nicer to warrant any premium.

 

I agree, face if you are on the west coast, maybe a nickle on the east coast, due to circulation availability. Jim

 

There are too many detracting marks on both sides that would prevent it from receiving a high grade.

Wouldn't pay more than face for it.

 

A buyer would loose money on just the postage to get it, so ZERO IMO.

 

Does it have any doubling or errors on it?

 

It’s a lovely cent to start a collection with.

 

A small amount of Die deterioration doubling which is post mint and of no value, just overuse of die in making the coins. Jim

 

It's nothing special so face value is my limit.
