How meticulous are your records?

    I use a paper ledger to record everything I'm adding to the collection. That ledger is later used to load all the information into my PC. I also use a book drive to backup the PC. Data loss is no fun.

    that's why I like coin elite, find the coin in the listing they have, find the grade, click them both and fill in the information you want saved just that simple.

    If the currency is deflated 5% per year, then in 10 years if you sell something for 20% more than you paid for it you have still lost money. Just because something goes up in price doesn't mean it goes up in value.

    Gasoline now is cheaper than it was 60 years ago.

    Same here. I started using it before Windows even came out. It will do anything.
