There is always someone more serious than another. I am serious in an amateur kind of way. - I only have a few coin books - Coin inventory software - Multiple spreadsheets of the coins - Do not go to a coin club, although I have thought about it - Multiple times have spent more than $100 on a coin - Probably most of my discretionary money goes to coins more than anything else - My family thinks I am a nerd (have to be serious to take that) - Been collecting off and on, now more on since I was a kid in the 60's - Go to Coin Talk forum a lot and try and pick up some knowledge - Never have sold a coin - Have my coins insured - Completing various sets such as the Lincoln's (minus S VDB), Jeffs (done), Rosie's (almost done), Washington (working on) and Morgan's (minus a bunch) - Very much enjoy this hobby regardless of the "serious" definition That's my story and I am sticking to it
