How many pre 1960 nickels do you find per box?

So yesterday I went to my usual haunt, got one box of nickels and two of cents - the nickels and one of the cents had to go back because they were noobs. So they dutifully went back to the vault and dug out golden oldies coins for me.

The nickels turned out to be vedy vedy good.

7 1938-9, but no mintmarks
36 40s dates including three S mints.

The cents would have been another story 'cept for the BU 1954-S that was in one of the boxes.

Yes, I check for the good stuff. I may get 1-2 silver per box. A good mix of dates but no key dates yet. I check for major varieties too.
