I normally do not buy duplicates, but this one was too hard to pass. I bought it in an on line auction. I told myself I would bid once and if someone else bid, I would let them have it...... My new coin arrived today. It is almost twice the weight of my first club coin. My original coin was one of the two lightest examples I found in 2012. The sextans of this series are the most common. A one dot example will sell for 2 or 3 times a 2 dotter. For some reason, I do not know, this series is not round.

Cast AE Cast Sextans; Umbria (or Etruria), 3rd century BC

Greek Italy.
