How long would you wait on overdue orders?

I get it now. I use to work Hallmark Cards, Orders would often get picked , sent to the truck and sit for weeks before getting released .
Like you said, people are just noticing the flaws in the system . I can't remember the number of times this Holiday season that I've had to check a tracking number . The Boots my Wife ordered just before Xmas still haven't arrived . FedEx still has them floating around .

It's obviously worse this year and last year but there's always been very interesting tracking tracking results if people actually checked them closely like they are now. I always used to get a laugh seeing a package detour to Puerto Rico for no reason. The holiday season even in normal times has always been a bit of a dumpster fire too so its really kind of the perfect storm for delays at the moment.

 

I also think since the Virus , that there were an enormous amount of online orders that normally would of been store pick up in the retail sector that are clogging the deliveries . Hopefully things clear up in the next couple months .
I will find out in a few months when I order a Coin or should I wait til things get better ?

 

Without question that is the biggest issue just the pure volume as everything is being shipped now.

If there's something you want I would just go ahead and order it. Even if you have to wait a month for shipping that's still faster than waiting a month or two just to order it.

It's also important for everyone to remember that for every story of something super delayed, countless packages are being delivered. If anything it would be worth the couple extra dollars for priority mail

 

2 coins from spain that I bought on ebay, the seller offerd a refund and said if they showed to let him know and just repay. I responded I would just wait and see, i wanted to show good faith on my side. now ebay has deleted the orders for no activity. I am def not doing ebay from other countrys anymore. I still trust the seller because he has proof of shipping and always responded to emails. This is my main concern on how long am I going to wait. I got just about $50 on the 2 Spanish shipwreck coins.
Now as far as other orders I still havent recieved from a auction house...out of 20 orders I got 15 and marked them delivered and sellers have been paid. The other 5 shipped but cant be tracked in U.S. I dont even know if it will show if they gets to U.S.? Sellers have asked what I wanted to do and I said I will wait, again I wanted to show good faith on my part. Its got to be as frustrating on sellers also.
