We had chickens and ducks at one time. Those floating deicers work VERY well!

 

I going with 3:30AM, you might want to start putting sweaters on your chickens would it be cruel to put downfilled jackets on them?

1:30 am. Lol. I'm no good with the cold weather, its always in the 70's/80's here in Pearl City (Honolulu). Out here in the salt spray and humidity, you would need some kind of air conditioning. It was 81 F today and everyone was swimming with Santa hats on.

Yeah, to give you an idea, I had a package shipped from CA two days after you shipped yours to me, and that arrived yesterday. Go figure...
