mrbrooklyn, it could be anything. Maybe you are just bored with the current threads and have an overriding urge to be active on the forum. I get that way too. What I usually do is jump to another forum and see if there is anything there that interests me, or I go searching coin rolls. BTW, your photos/copies of coins you have hanging on your walls are nice. Maybe you can start a thread about coins as works of art or decoration for people. Not just the ones people take to document their coins. And ask people to post some of theirs. I don't have any right now, so I wouldn't be able to contribute, but I suspect others might.
Hello That is excellent. What printer do you use? I had no idea you had those in your house. do you ever sell any of them?? Amanda
I am with you man, except I am bad even taking pics to post here, (as most will frustratingly agree with). For those who also record all of their purchases, take pics, etc. good for you guys. I am an accountant for a living so collect coins to get away from such classification. Plus, you guys always know what you own, what fun is that? Last month when going through stuff to put in a sdb I found out I own three pillar dollars, when I thought I owned one. How great is that? I just got two free pillar dollars! Put them away, and go through them every 5-10 years. Its just like getting them in the mail for the very first time, and this time you don't have to pay!
I have an HP2605DN Frankly, there are a lot of inexpense and wonderful full color Lazerjet printers now. This one can already use a replacement The toners are more expense that the printer. Ruben
It is a great thing when that happens.:smile In April, I went through a dusty SDB that had several expensive coins in it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I owned a fourth (really expensive coin) when I really thought I only owned three of them. I really didn't know that I owned that fourth coin. Your experience was with a Pillar Dollar & mine was with a 1961 DDR proof half dollar. The experience should not repeat because I photographed everything in the SDB. In my case it was easy because the US coins were all slabbed so each picture includes an image of the coin & the coin's description.
I agree, I was rummaging through my SDB today, and it was like rediscovering those coins all over again.
Hello Would that be coin related? Everyone has reasons to collect coins and learning what motivates others is interesting and adds depth of enjoyment of the hobby. I collect them as an extensions of my interest in exportation and art. Is it so hard to contribute to this thread in a positives way? Amanda
I was trying to figure out a way to twist this into sounding as though you said your kids were getting uglier with age. But, then I finally realized that this is exactly what you are saying. Hahh! CLASSIC!!
I figure mine will take another two weeks. I don't work on it every day. Plus I have to get some more paint at Home Depot.
