Id be highly willing to challenge the fact that I see 3 completely different coins... the 1884cc in the original pics has multiples marks you can see even though it looks like a very high grade... however... the marks you see... cant be shown in the later pictures provided which show a lot more detail... and even than the marks on the 2nd set of pics do not match marks on the 3rd set of pics... I could be crazy and the photos could def be playing tricks on me with the light and reflection... but I do think these are 3 different coins. if you can match up any of the same marks... I would love to locate them to suffice my curiosity!

I was at 64 from the original photos and still am. The flaws are there and visible, you guys just haven't trained your eyes enough to see them. Some tricks with light were used to minimize the appearance of the flaws. but they are still noticeable via the slight discoloration in spots.

The photos shown in posts #1 and #19 are all of the same coin. While not presently in a position where I can enhance those shown in the first post so that marks can easily be matched, I do respectfully suggest a close side-by-side comparison. The marks most easily compared as is are those on the reverse on both sides of the eagle (note positions, shapes, and directions) and on the obverse note the hit to the lower right bottom loop of the eight.

It is the same coin. Books is correct. All the marks line up. The differences are the variation in photography. The initial set of photos make the coin two grades higher in my view. The other set shows the undisclosed bag marks, that lower the grade.
