How do you store/display your collection?

    John Skelton Morgan man!

I have very few slabbed coins, and a lot of what I have are in 2x2s and tubes. I do have some in Ziploc bags waiting to be put in 2x2s, same with those in the tubes. Then they will go into the red boxes. Once there, I can see what I have and need to sell.

I'm not a fan of the albums. My friend does use them, and he's always having to shuffle them when he fills a hole. Yes, you can leave a blank space to fill, but I don't like seeing a bunch of empty holes. And when you have more than one particular coin, putting them all together makes it easier for me to decide which ones to keep.

It may not be for everyone, and YMMV.

The two upright trays next to each other:

The Roman Republican tray, as of about a month or two ago (not in its sleeve, so you can see most of the individual coins rather clearly by clicking on the photo to enlarge it):

If you keep your coin shelf vertical, aren't you concerned that they may fall out? And if they do fall out, you could damage the coin.
When I buy a coin or coins, I take a picture of it/them, and store them in boxes about the size of the boxes that the Mint delivers my purchases in. I have all of my coins in a magazine box. I separate the coins by the year they were purchased and I keep an Excel spreadsheet of all my purchases. I purchase most of my coins from the Mint (Oh, no, you don't really buy from the mint?) Yes, I do. I buy a few from ebay and Mount Vernon. I have been fortunate in finding what I like.
I did inherit a sizeable amount of old coins from my father. Sad to say, most of them were in a jar, each jar for each denomination. I put them in a 2x2 and file them in a coin box. I also have a separate magazine box for each denomination.
As for purchasing from the mint, I have found many coins they sale are pretty nice. I like the American Liberty Gold Coin last year with the bucking horse.
I'm sure that everyone has their own style of filing their coins.
Thank you for those that showed or told us your way of keeping your coins.

Actually I keep my pages separate (8 to a large folder) I have never had problems with concave/ convex Byzantine AV/ EL coins)

Not one bit. I've kept coins that way for years, and not one has ever fallen out. Because (1) the stand isn't 90 degrees vertical; it slants back just enough so the coins would stay in place even if there was nothing else to keep them there; and (2) the clear plastic sleeve (which functions as a stackable box when laid flat) holds the tray tightly enough that it's almost impossible for the coins to fall out of their compartments.

I’m believing everything with your storage. Very nice
