I can answer for myself and for my seven year old YN Thalia Elizabeth. A large percentage of both our collections are not worth very much per coin, so we have mostly 2x2 holders for our world coins. Thalia Elizabeth's collection is a little more organized than mine-- but then, she started later. We have three binders for her, one is US, one is Canada and one is World. The World binder will eventually have the UK / British Commonwealth split out of it since that part of her collection is growing faster than anything else. My world coins are still in the file box that I saved them in when I was a Young Numismatist. They are more or less in alphabetical order and they are all in 2x2s. As for cataloging... uh, do I have to answer that? :o There is a very strong club in the immediate area and several other clubs here in Western NY; and Thalia Elizabeth is the youngest member of the Junior Club here. So there is a nice community here. My dad also collects and sends Thalia goodies every so often, and some of the very nice people here have also given Thalia some very nice coins as well
