Anyone else notice PamR was the first one to comment :p not that there is anything wrong with that.
I'm sure you won't have a problem liquidating your collection.
There is always the classified section on here...cash and carry for less paperwork.

The latest major example of a museum or other entity mishandling items is the DeWitt collection of political items, including tokens. DeWitt left his collection to the University of Hartford. To my knowledge, it was never displayed. It only sat in a vault, and from the deterioration I saw for some items, they were not stored properly.

The whole collection was sold to Heritage who auctioned it. DeWitt’s intention that it be used for educational purposes was not honored.

It was easier to see coins from the Smithsonian collection in the 1960s than it is now. Far more of the collection was on display then. I know because I remember viewing it when I was in high school.

I'm in my 80's, and am buying multiple certified Gold coins daily, with people following me knowing that I pay more than the average buyer, but don't over-pay.
Those that follow know that the coins I win appreciate shortly.
It's fun to bid on dozens of these coins, but only win a few, while watching the bids of my competition.
It's also fun to motivate new collectors by selling them coins at less than my purchase price (<market), with a guarantee full price buy-back, plus a 4%/annum premium.
